Certified Crisis Response Therapy Dog

ABOUT ME

I was born and bred with a passion in my furry heart to be a Crisis Response Dog. I absolutely love meeting new people wherever I go, whether it’s hospitals, schools, or exciting events. I grew up happily trotting alongside my owner, who happens to be a teacher. That means for the first three years of my life I got to hang out with awesome kids aged 5 to 18 almost every day. Bark-tastic!

Guess what? I’ve been on not one, but three missions for hurricane relief! We responded after Hurricane Ian in 2022 and both Hurricane Helene and Milton in 2024. The Salvation Army and I make quite the team. Our goal is simple: we offer warm hugs, lend a listening ear, and provide the amazing ministry of presence to those who are hurting. It’s a pawsome feeling to bring comfort to those who need it most.

I’m a healthy pup, and I get all my vaccinations during my annual vet visits. It’s important to stay in tip-top shape so I can be the best helper possible. Plus, I’m all about obedience, socialization, and desensitization training. These skills help me be even more pawsome at my job, assisting those in need.

Let me tell you, being a Crisis Response Dog is the best! I’m here to bring wagging tails, wet kisses, and furry cuddles to make the world a better place. Woof!

WHAT I DO

Oh boy, I’ve got quite the list of accomplishments to wag my tail about! Here are all the pawsome things I’ve earned through my experience and training:

Phew, that’s quite the impressive roster, if I do say so myself! It’s an honor to have earned these certifications and titles. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and be the best Crisis Response Dog I can be.

Dunkin is a beloved part of our school! Our students just light up anytime he enters the room, and they are immediately put at ease by the warmth and love that both he and Tina so easily demonstrate. This is a beautiful ministry that God is using in mighty ways!

ABOUT THE OWNER

Tina Reeder is the amazing person who takes care of me. She’s not just any ordinary person, though. She’s a State of Florida Certified Teacher who brings me along to school every day. I get to hang out with students in different situations, and let me tell you, it’s always a blast! Tina has this incredible calming presence and brings so much joy to everyone around.

But that’s not all! She’s also a Licensed Chaplain with the Evangelical Church Alliance, which means she can provide spiritual guidance to others while they enjoy petting me. Talk about a win-win situation! Tina is involved in various other organizations too, and she holds some pretty impressive titles:

Tina has a deep love and compassion for First Responders. It’s no wonder why—her daughter is a nurse, and her husband was a firefighter with Martin County Fire Rescue.

Sadly, he lost his life in the line of duty back in 2009. That personal connection fuels Tina’s passion to support and care for those who put their lives on the line every day.

So, you see, Tina Reeder isn’t just my handler—she’s a remarkable person who brings light, love, and comfort to everyone she encounters. I’m incredibly blessed that she is holding my leash!
