PupMedics exists to bring comfort, compassion, and hope to people in moments of crisis through the presence of a trained crisis response therapy dog and a compassionate handler.
In the midst of trauma, grief, disaster, and uncertainty, even a small moment of peace can make a profound difference. PupMedics responds to these moments by providing calm, connection, and emotional support when people need it most.
Through crisis response visits, disaster deployments, and community outreach, PupMedics serves individuals, families, and communities who are navigating difficult circumstances. Our work focuses on creating safe, compassionate spaces where people can pause, breathe, and feel supported.
At the heart of PupMedics is Dunkin, a certified crisis response therapy dog whose gentle presence helps people open up, share their stories, and find comfort during some of life’s hardest moments.
Our work extends beyond crisis response. Through programs like Stories with Dunkin, we help preserve the memories, experiences, and voices of individuals whose stories deserve to be remembered and shared with future generations.
